Travel Road Show:
Critter Keeper Road Show

The show consists of a fully interactive reptile show where we pick one kid per show, who is dressed up in our Zoo Crew attire and they get to have hands on with some of the reptiles. At the end of the show we pick a group of kids to help hold a replica snake skin measuring over 30′ to end each show.

The Crew

Jimmy Riffle

Owner / Operator

Jimmy started his career volunteering/working with animals at The Native Village in Hollywood, FL.  

From the age of 11, he was trained by Mike “Skeet” Johns to respect and appreciate all wildlife. 

Jimmy later went on to star in Animal Planet’s hit tv show “Gator Boys”. Scales Tails and Teeth was started by Jimmy in the hopes that he could share his love an appreciation of wildlife to people (children and adults) all over the country. 

Jimmy still travels and educates the public, but he was able to fulfill a lifelong dream to open a small scale educational animal park in Marion County, Florida.

As always, we thoroughly enjoyed hosting Jimmy and the Scales, Tails and Teeth crew at Kidfest! Ridgeland this year. The new Reptile Walk Thru Experience was a big hit with our guests. The physical set-up was authentic and many of the species were more exotic and interesting than I originally imagined – very cool stuff. We look forward to bringing ya’ll back in the near future. Scales Tails and Teel Roadshow drew phenomenal crowds at the2013 and 2014 Big East Camping and Outdoor Sports Shows held at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino, The success of these shows is due in part to the professional gator wrestling shows and most of all to the professionalism by Jimmy Riffle and his crew. Each day they would perform and then meet with all of their fans to take pictures and sign autographs. Jimmy Riffle loves his fans and is indebted to their loyalty and shows his appreciation with a hands on approach and personal interaction with all those who meet him and his crew. As show promoters we are very proud and fortunate to have had Scales Tails and Teeth at our two shows and look forward to many more years of this personal and professional relationship.
